Piece of art-works collection "Russian soul of clocks" made by Yuri Firsanov (Russia). Work named "Millstone".

Material: linden, caucasian walnut (natural wood).
Height: 25 cm.

Now work is owned py private Russian collector.

You have a wonderful way of depicting traditional crafts and chores in your clocks . I doubt many in this country even know what she is doing . It's all done in a huge mill over here . You are skilled at so many levels .

Lovely, lovely sculpture mfirsanov. I like how you handled the the folds in the fabric she wears and the twist on the bag. The expression on her face denotes that simple joy of doing something you love and doing it well. Wonderful piece.
